Today we were told to write down what our goals are for this term. And my goal for this term is :
- to concentrate well in class
- to learn how to read notes in guitar
And we were also told to make a group and to make a presentation about Classical and popular music.
02 - 02 - 2009
Today we were told to present the draft presentation for our assessment. And we were told on what we should improve on. And so, we revise it and also edited some so that it will look good.
03 - 02 - 2009
Today we did a group presentation consisting of Maria, Adeline, Vale, and me. I think we did well on it because we improved some of the presentation. And i think we'll get good marks on it too.
09 - 02 - 2009
Today we were told about our individual task. We have to start making it and start researching about it.
10 - 02 - 2009
Today we review about popular and classic music. And i think i understand about it quite well. And we were also given a task to find lyrics about the song you've got a friend and Indonesia pusaka.
16 - 02 - 2009
Today we were told that we have to make the individual task for 10 pages and to make 5 questions about classical vs popular music.

Today we were told to see this site : www.theoria.com we were told to learn and read what's on that web.
24 - 02 - 2009
Today is the due date for our individual task. And i think that i did well on that and i think that i'm going to get good scores on it too.
13 - 04 - 2009
Today i learn about classic music, i practice the classical music for my performance next week. i think i did well on it because i've been spending my time practicing for it.

Today i learn how to use the finale. And we were told where to download it.
20 - 04 - 2009
Today we did a performance on classic music. I was really nervous playing the performance but i think i did quite well on the performance. i played the song called 'Romance de Amor'. and i think i will get good scores on it too.
MUSIC TERM 3 REFLECTION
In term 3 i've learned many things including the classical music and popular music. The difference, the similarities, and the music instrument.
The difference in classical music and popular music are the duration. Classical usic takes hours, but popular music takes under 5 minutes long. Also, i've learned that classical music doesn't have any lyrics in the song, instead popular music have singer who sings their song, but classical music have opera. Classical music also usually uses acoustic instruments, but popular music uses electric instrument.
We're also given task to make a slide show, showing the difference and similarities between classic and popular music. And we also make a portfolio for our individual task.
I think i did quite well on this term, but i still need to practice more on my instrument skills and musical histories.
